Traditional Reiki Teachings

In-Person on Madeira Island

Learn Reiki Level 1 and 2:

⛩️ The training follows the traditional Japanese system and is structured as a three day first level and a two day second level.

🙏 Along with the Reiju (also known as ‘attunement’), each level combines historical context, clear explanations of how and why the practice works, and a strong emphasis on application.

💆🏻 Students do not only learn the theory but spend substantial time practicing Reiki with real clients under supervision.

✅ Each seminar is concluded with a certification ceremony in which you receive your Usui Reiki Ryoho certificate declaring you a practitioner of the traditional system of Usui Reiki.

About the teacher:

Andrej Raider is a Reiki researcher, practitioner, and instructor who works directly with clients and students on Madeira Island.

His background spans both modern Western Reiki and the traditional Japanese system as it was practiced before being adapted for the West by Hawayo Takata. This allows him to explain clearly where different approaches come from, why they developed, and how they influence practice today, without mixing systems or diluting the original method.

Andrej has worked with hundreds of clients and brings this clinical experience directly into his teaching. In his seminars, students do not just learn concepts but practice Reiki hands on, give real treatments under guidance, and receive precise feedback on posture, touch, pacing, and presence. His approach is calm, friendly but precise in his teachings, rooted in science, the Japanese system and its historical and cultural context.
